Second Generation Megachurch Pastor Leader Group

True peers for this season of ministry, trusted mentors to guide the way

You’ve taken the reins on leading a megachurch, now what? Connect with your peers who are also serving as second generation megachurch pastors for learning, community and encouragement.

I was new to the Executive Pastor role when I participated in Leadership Network’s Women’s Executive Pastor Leadership Community. Finding women with the same role and struggles I had was a breath of fresh air. It gave me the freedom to function in my role “authentically me”. This hugely supportive network continues to this day.

faq

What is the Second Generation Megachurch Senior Pastor Leader Group all about?

As a Second Generation Megachurch Pastor, you have in the last 1-3 years taken on leadership of a megachurch.  In many cases, the transition may be a result of pastoral succession. Over the twelve month period, you will have the opportunity to connect with up to 15 other senior pastors who have recently transitioned into the new role of senior pastor of a megachurch.  Face-to-face meetings will afford the chance to experience the campuses of churches while engaging with a variety of resources including leaders from organizations from multiple domains that will speak into the unique challenges and opportunities of your church.  In addition, each group will have 2-3 mentor pastors that have successfully navigated a similar transition. These mentors will be available for personal coaching during the experience.

What will be my key learnings?

-How do I best manage the relational dynamics with the former Senior Pastor?
-What roadblocks can be avoided?
-How can I best establish my own leadership imprint?
-How do I lead at this next level … (staffing, support, etc.)?

Where and When with the Meetups Take Place?

-November 5-7, 2019 (Dallas)
-March 17-19, 2020 (Southern CA)
