Salary Survey Now Closed – With Public Report Coming in August

June 7, 2016

2016 Large Church Salary Now Closed - Public Report Coming in AugustIt’s our largest response ever for the Leadership Network 2016 Large Church Salary, Staff and Budget Survey. We closed it in early June, and now are painstakingly analyzing the data for trends, ratios, benchmarks and other insights designed to help church leaders. Our initial tally indicates over 1,500 churches participated – mostly US, but also Canadian, South African and elsewhere.

Those who participated will receive the first wave of the findings – such as webinars with Q&A sessions. Then we’ll distribute a free, public executive summary to them and anyone else who is interested – sometime in August. But those who took the survey will also receive a free expanded report with census data integration. That second report will be available for sale to all others, also in August.

In addition, we have other “bonus” reports in mind, which will go to the survey participants first, for free, and then be made available to others. We find the greatest incentive we can offer people to participate in our surveys is to give them findings first and free, with some of that feedback being offered only to those who participate. Plus, we also sometimes offer gift cards to randomly selected participants, and that’s a nice bonus as well!

When the free executive summary goes public in August, we’ll announce it via blog, Leadership Network Advance, and Twitter.

If you’d like to be part of future surveys, simply update your Leadership Network profile here, checking the “surveys” line at very bottom. Or if you have any other questions or comments, please contact us at research@leadnet.org. Thank you.
