Microchurch NEXT Learning Community
Engaging Microchurches from Within Existing Churches
Is it possible to see lasting results?
More and more church leaders are wanting to start a “skunk works,” R&D department, or a parallel pathway. The desired outcome is to develop missional leaders who can lead micro-expressions of the church, either within a current congregation or as an extension of it.
Many a church has attempted this missional transition, and most would say it has had mixed results. Many would also tell you that it was very difficult, often fraught with discouraging crosswinds, and many times the fruit was limited.
However, more and more fruitful experiments are emerging in our time from within the predominant model. Rob Wegner, Brian Johnson, and Jason Sheppherd are directors of two microchurch networks that understand the complexities and opportunities of starting within the predominant model.
Denominational/Network Leaders and Pastors are invited to join us for a learning community where we will open the hood on how these two networks emerged and equip you with paradigms and tools you can contextualize within your own faith community.
