Leadership Network continues to build its team with high-capacity leaders who can serve churches in powerful ways. These leaders are field-tested as innovation catalysts in their local churches, and they bring their unique backgrounds and experience to their pursuits with church leaders around the U.S.
We are excited to introduce some of those new leaders to you in a series of question and answer blogs. In this first Q&A installment, you will meet Kadi Cole who previously served on the Senior Leadership Team at Christ Fellowship Church in West Palm Beach Florida as the creator and Director of their School of Leadership.
What background qualifications do you bring to multisite ministry?
I’ve been involved in church ministry since I was young, but have been on paid staff for the past 15 years in multisite churches and have a master’s degree in training and development. Previously, I was a dean in student development at a Christian college, am a registered nurse, and have a background in theatre and production. Somehow all of that seems to come in handy in ministry!
Why are you excited about this topic of multisite development? What difference do you hope to make?
I have had the privilege of being part of my church’s multisite strategy since the early days—from helping to launch our first campus in 2004, to serving as the first Multisite Executive Director. Now we are about to launch our ninth campus.
Although it’s been an incredible experience, our weekly worship attendance has grown from 4,000 to 24,000, we have learned some tough lessons along the way. I am really excited about the opportunity to help other churches go even further and faster, without having to re-invent the wheel or experience as much heartache.
How are you involved with your local church?
My family and I have been involved at Christ Fellowship for 16 years in a variety of roles. But I especially love leading a Life Group, teaching in our School of Leadership and mentoring young leaders.
How can multisite churches get creative and innovative in their approach? Listen to what Kadi shares about HUB:Multisite.
How are you helping church leaders through Leadership Network and your HUB:Multisite group?
After working with multisite churches of all sizes for the last 15 years, Leadership Network has identified three key areas that need to be solved to move to the “next level” successfully:
1. Maximize Central Support
2. Build Leadership Capacity
3. Multiply Momentum
To help leadership teams engage these critical conversations, we’ve designed the HUB:Multisite to specifically guide those leaders to an action plan they can take back to their church and implement right away. And we’ve already seen some incredible steps forward! Whether a church has 3 campuses or is strategizing for 10 campuses, this process is really working.
“Kadi brings passion and dedication to everything she does. When I look back at the people and ministries over the past 15 years that carry her ‘fingerprints,’ I know we are a stronger and better church because of her leadership. I can’t wait to see how God is going to use her to help other churches and leaders.”

What’s the biggest challenge you want to help churches work through? And the biggest opportunity to help them seize?
I think one of the biggest challenges in church ministry is to battle against the tyranny of the urgent. There always seems to be more coming at us all the time!
Taking advantage of experiences at Leadership Network made my leadership so much more effective. I could easily get my teams out of the office, give them access to amazing resources, and take time together to make good decisions without being rushed. Leadership Network did all the heavy lifting, and we got all the benefits. Any time a leadership team can spend time together figuring out the most important things, the whole church wins.
What do you do for fun?
I enjoy reading, house projects, Saturday morning garage sales and traveling—especially to my hometown in Montana. But my favorite times are hanging out with my husband (Matt, married 19 years) and our son (Ethan, in Middle School).
Leaders who have adopted a multisite strategy for their church recognize the model’s potential to accelerate growth and impact.
