March’s 11 for 11 Theme Is New Trends in Collaborative Leadership

March 7, 2011

hands-colorful This month’s first issue of Leadership Network Advance focuses on broadening the church leadership platform through Team Collaboration. It includes a introductory article followed by in-depth coverage via your choice of media: mini-paper, podcast or video.

We kicked of 2011 with an emphasis on the Global Connections factor in many churches. January’s coverage included an introductory article; the more in-depth coverage titled “The New Role for Western Missionaries” in three parallel formats depending on your choice of media: mini-paper, podcast or video; a resource named “Nine Game Changers for Global Mission”; and an invitation by Eric Swanson to learn more about participating in a Global Connections Leadership Community.

During February we emphasized Rapid Growth Churches, asking what’s unique about them? how are they led? what issues do their leaders struggle with? The issue featured an introductory article and included links to a fuller report in three formats: mini-paper, podcast or video.

We also offered two concept papers that explore leading practices in rapid growth churches. These are available as free downloads:

All three months are part of an initiative we’re calling “11 for 11.” Translation: For 11 months of 2011 we will drill down on a different topic each month, describing the trends and developments we’re seeing. We hope these emphases are helpful to you and we look forward to your feedback. (And if you don’t subscribe to Advance, sign up here for free.)
