For households that give to the general fund of your church, do 43% give between $200 and $999 a year? That’s the average, according to a study of several hundred larger churches conducted by MortarStone.
That’s one of many benchmarks revealed in a recent Leadership Network infographic and report written by yours truly. The short document is designed to help larger churches know the patterns in other larger churches. The report, titled “How Can Big Data Increase Generosity in Your Church? 13 Vital Benchmarks to Assess Giving Potential” is a free download at Leadnet.org/salary. It also offers a great price on a follow-up analysis specifically tailored to your church.
