Even though discipleship has been the central mission of the church for more than 2000 years, it still remains at the top of the list of challenges for most pastors, especially those of large, growing churches.  Leadership Network Director and author, Reggie McNeal, understands this challenge better than most.  Reggie’s work with churches around the world has given him unique insight into the practices of well-meaning churches that hinder efforts to help their members grow into the people God intends for them to be.

Church leaders must understand that, regardless of the size of the church, their efforts in spiritual formation and discipleship require that they hold intentional conversations with people about their personal development.  Recently Reggie McNeal spoke with leaders from the Reformed Church of America about “generating spiritual conversations.” In this talk Reggie thinks out loud about how we create environments where these conversations can occur, as well as unpacking some elements involved in shaping these interactions with people.

In an effort to help leaders like you create environments for spiritual growth, Leadership Network has made Reggie’s entire talk, along with two other conversations with these teams, available as a free, downloadable resource for a limited time.  This content will challenge and inspire your team to overcome roadblocks to spiritual growth in your church so that your members can grow into “viral Kingdom agents” in the world around them.
