We are very excited to preview a new series at the Leadership Network blog today called “Conversations on Church Innovations”.  These video and audio posts will feature candid conversations with innovative church leaders from across the country talking about the areas of ministry they are passionate about.

Shawn is the Executive Pastor of Spiritual Life Technology at Gateway Church in Southlake, TX. Shawn oversees the ministries and technology tools of spiritual formation, community, and mobile engagements.  These ministries are myGateway and the Table. Shawn has over 20 years experience in leading and marrying ministry, technology, and business. Prior to joining Gateway, Shawn co-founded national filtered Internet Provider, Integrity Online and lead several overseas ministry initiatives, including serving as President and CTO of Assemble Communications, a multi-national telecommunications company, based in Singapore and the US. Purposed to improve education, business, and the spread of the gospel in 2nd and 3rd world countries. Shawn’s experience, heart and relational style bring a unique perspective to the changing culture of ministry and how it utilizes technology. He presently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and a MBA in International Business. He has been married to his wife Brenda for over 21 years, and together they raise two beautiful girls and two awesome boys.
