Forbes magazine has identified America’s most stressed-out cities to be:

1. Las Vegas, NV

2. Los Angeles, CA

3. Houston, TX

4. Tampa, FL

5. Riverside, CA

6. Miami, FL

7. Dallas, TX

8. New York, NY

9. Chicago, IL

10. Detroit, MI

Forbes calculated the list by measuring the 40 largest Metropolitan Statistical Areas in the U.S. on 6 metrics that either cause or are caused by stress: high unemployment, long commute times, long work hours, limited access to health care, poor physical health and a lack of exercise. For #1-ranked Las Vegas, the unemployment rank was 1 of 40 as was the limited exercise rank. The poor physical health rank was 2 of 40, the limited healthcare rank was 3 of 40, the long working hours rank was 6 of 40, and the long commute times rank was 32 of 40.
