Leadership Development Leadership Communities

Leadership Development is the #1 issue leaders mention when we ask them to list their most urgent ministry challenges.

Churches need leaders at all levels, serving in all areas of ministry, inside and outside the walls of the church. The Leadership Development Community groups address this critical need. Ministry leaders, together with Leadership Network’s team of facilitators and coaches, explore the various elements of leadership development while working toward achieving bold, new goals in leader development.

What do we do? In a collaborative learning environment with other large churches, we'll take an in-depth look at new ways of replicating, multiplying and developing leaders. We'll learn from each others models of leadership development and look at elements such an internships, developing leaders for mission and creating a culture of reproduction. We will be also able to build off the best practices in the previous communities.

Groups will be limited to 12 large church teams per group and will commit to meet together over a two-year period.

General qualifying criteria to apply:

  • Your church has one or more staff members with significant job responsibilities directly related to Leadership Development at all levels within your church (not just Small Groups or Life Groups).
  • Your church has an intentional Leadership Development process in place now.

  • Your weekend worship attendance is at least 1500+
