The Heartbeat of Rising Influence Churches

VIDEO Warren Bird posted on 11/8/2011 in

“Rising influence” churches show significant innovation in ministry, and they positively impact both their local communities and their pastoral peers. Most are looking for new, meaningful, biblically based ways to describe and measure spirituality. All strive to become better at connecting with, reaching and serving lost people, and most are trying to find new financial models where less of their total budget goes into facility costs. Multisite ministry is almost a given for these churches. In this video, Dr. Warren Bird talks about some of the lead pastors of influential churches he has interviewed this year. He reports that these influential churches could be found throughout the country and were not limited by economic status, or race. Trends include an increase discipleship and community service, both local and global. The big questions these churches are struggling with are finances and also organizational structure. Dr. Bird ends the video by talking about some of the predictions for “rising influence” churches.
