The New Metrics: How Do They Look in Your Church

Thanks - this is a high priority for us in the coming year.

I used the Transformational Church book and assessment tool with 18 churches as part of my doctoral dissertation.

The participating churches have, indeed, found this “new scorecard” to be energizing and a real catalyst to positive change.

The TCAT is an excellent tool for analysis and charting change.

I serve as Lead Pastor at the Church http://www.livelifetogether.com/.

We are using the “Life Marks Journey” http://www.lifemarksjourney.com/.  This assessment tool walks our people though the process of considering their current stage of spiritual development and encourages them to develop a growth plan.

The best part with regard to “changing the scorecard” is that it provides a dashboard that shows how many people are using the assessment and gives us real-time measures of aggregate responses so we can see how people rate themselves in areas that matter to us.  It’s completely customizable, so now we are able to measure the characteristics that we had already identified as our Missional Life Marks.

Thing you are talking about sounds right.  However, consider this, what happens if you included a little more?  I mean, I dont tend to teach ways to write your site, however if you added extra content which could get peoples awareness?  Just as a video or possibly a picture or perhaps 2 to obtain your readers psyched regarding what youve got to say.
