How Can You Engage 100% of Your Church’s Attenders?

Published on 6/28/2011

A new book by Scott Thumma and Warren Bird, The Other 80 Percent: Turning Your Church's Spectators into Active Participants, seeks to answer that question.

For most of the roughly three hundred thousand Protestant churches in America, only a small percentage of those in regular attendance are active and engaged in mission and ministry; and church leaders are left wondering, “Why?” The Other 80 Percent shows what thousands of marginal members said about why they’re not more involved. Learn from individuals who moved from the fringes to the core, and find out what prompts people to move toward greater church commitment. Find out why spiritual nurturance of the entire congregation should be at the heart of any effort to generate greater involvement.

We, too, only allow our children to ptakare in communion when they’ve received the gift of Jesus Christ & allowed Him to be their Lord & Savior. It is a beautiful moment joining in communion with your child after they’ve entered into that personal relationship with Him!!!Erin recently posted..
