Churches with Nonprofit / Charity Organizations Leadership Community
In our ever-changing and increasingly challenging economy, churches are often looking for ways to serve their communities through various not-for-profit ventures. Recognizing that this is an emerging trend, Leadership Network is launching a two year Leadership Community designed for churches with nonprofit / charity organizations. This community is designed for churches that have already launched a non-profit venture and are wanting to learn from others and collaborate in helping each other maximize their efforts and effectiveness.
The Churches with Nonprofit / Charity Organizations Leadership Community (NPCLC) will look at:
- What models exist?
- What are potential pitfalls and usable metrics?
- What does ‘great’ look like in a non-profit/charity?
The NPCLC will gather four times, for two-day experiences over the course of 24 months. NPCLC team members attending should include the lead pastor, the individual overseeing the nonprofit(s) or charity organization(s) and any additional key decision-makers in this ministry area. This team should have full budget control in this ministry area. Team members should also be empowered to engage in strategic planning and implement action plans to accomplish bold, new goals.
Who Can Participate
Churches will be invited to apply for an interview based on meeting general qualifying criteria as follows:
- Your church has an established Nonprofit / Charity Organization.
- Your weekend worship attendance is at least 1000+.
