I love the creativity of the Church. It seems like every day, one of the staff here at Leadership Network hears about a new idea or a new nonprofit or for profit initiative being started by innovative churches. Kingdom 501c3 organizations, as they are sometimes called, are springing up all over the country. Churches are also starting for profit initiatives as a way to generate ministry revenue, serve their communities and to reach out to people that may never choose to attend a church or become involved in a faith community.
I had a phone conversation recently with Mark DeYmaz, senior pastor at Mosaic Central Arkansas Church in Little Rock, Arkansas about Mosaic's partnership with several food truck owners and the grand opening of Mosaic's food truck court.
The response from the neighborhoods surrounding the area was overwhelming as was the media coverage. Mosaic wants to provide reasonably priced, good food options to their neighbors and to serve as "pastors to the community" not just their church body..jpg)
Check out this article from Little Rock's local station, Fox16. Or, follow along on their Facebook page. Your church may want to hop onboard the food truck idea and start your own food truck court.

Pleased to read it! I like the intention of making ‘faith community’. It’s a fair step by the mob. Thanks Linda for sharing a nice article.
