Organic Leadership Conference
Main sessions with thinkers on the front edge of mission and leadership--Reggie McNeal, Dave Gibbons, Ali Eastburn, and Neil Cole--and interactive workshops addressing how the kingdom of God can transform all the domains of society (politics, economics, education, etc.) are all part of the CMA Conference, Feb. 19-21 in Long Beach, CA.

Leisure Time Down
The median number of leisure hours available each week dropped 20% to an all-time low of 16 in 2008, from 20 hours in 2007. This continues a trend which has seen America's weekly leisure time shrink 10 hours from 26 in 1973, according to The Harris Poll.
American's favorite leisure activities:
Reading 30% (up from 29% in 2007)
TV-watching 24%
Spending time with family and kids 17% (up from 14% in '07)
Exercise 8%
Computer activities and fishing (7% each)

The median amount of time spent working, including housekeeping and studying, is now 46 hours per week vs. 45 in '07.
